Kyle Neilson

Founder & Principal Consultant

It’s wonderful seeing leaders discover the efficacy of organizational health and good/true/beautiful digital marketing: “make good work great and great work known.”

I discovered this work in 2014 by accident. After ten years in various leadership positions, I was invited by Keith Borchers, a close friend and understudy of Patrick Lencioni, to read Pat’s book, The Advantage. At the time, Keith was founding Evangelium Consulting Group, dedicated to helping Catholic organizations with Lencioni’s wisdom, and he invited me to join him. I was in pain at work, and in need of “different.” Upon learning the craft, I immediately noticed a rich blend of impact, joy, and need. Soon hooked, I left my job in 2015 to consult full-time.

After several years collaborating with Jim Brown and the team at OrgHealth, I launched Kyle Neilson Consulting in 2023 and expanded my team, growing again through a 2024 rebrand to Teem Work Consulting.

Organizational health is the multiplier of an organization’s intelligence and a means of fixing many cultural, operational, and human pains—like hiring unhelpful people who otherwise seemed perfect, missing targets, holding ineffective meetings, or dying a slow internal, resentful death at and by work. (Wow, that was rather dramatic.) We equip leaders to apply its timeless principles and practices and effectively communicate with the world.
